This page lists current and past publications by various TeX user groups around the world, roughly in order of appearance. Please email us with additions or corrections.

TeX Users Group

• TUGboat: published since 1980. Contact: tugboat@tug.org.
• PracTeX Journal: launched in 2005, the twenty-fifth anniversary of TUG. This on-line journal is a complement to TUG's primary print journal, TUGboat. Contact: pracjourn@tug.org.
• TeX and TUG News: TTN was published from 1991–1995. It was intended to provide introductory material and news, in contrast to more advanced material in TUGboat. It was folded back into TUGboat in 1995, which now welcomes material at all levels, especially introductory.
• TeXniques: This was a series of occasional publications (now discontinued), each devoted to a particular topic or the proceedings of a TUG annual meeting.

EuroTeX proceedings

A pan-European conference has been held every year or two since 1985. The first four conferences were organized by enthusiastic individuals; since then, the conference has been sponsored by one of the formal TeX groups. The name EuroTeX has been used officially since 1990.

TeXline

TeXline was produced single-handedly by Malcolm Clark prior to the emergence of UKTUG and Baskerville. Sources for issues 5-14 are available from CTAN, in digests/texline.

GUTenberg (French)

• Cahiers Gutenberg: The Cahiers is the journal of the French-speaking group, GUTenberg. Originally published in two columns on A4 paper, with issue 9 (1991) a new format was adopted, using a single column on a trim size of 18cm x 24.5cm. Since that time, many issues have been topical, compiled by a guest editor; several issues contain the proceedings of conferences, including two EuroTeX issues.
• La Lettre Gutenberg: La Lettre is a less formal publication than the Cahiers, containing news and announcements. Most issues are characterized by presentation in a different font. The page size is A4.

Dante (German)

Die TeXnische Komödie is the quarterly newsletter of the German TeX users group. It contains news, announcements, and articles with TeXnical content as well. It is formatted with an A5 page size. Contact: dtk-redaktion@dante.de.

NTG (Dutch)

The NTG MAPS (Minutes & Appendices) are published twice a year, in Voorjaar and Najaar (spring and fall) issues. Gzipped PostScript files for issues 1-11 are at CTAN, in /usergrps/ntg/maps. Page size, originally A4, changed to 8.25 x 10.5in effective with MAPS 19 (Najaar 1997). Contact: maps@ntg.nl.

UK TUG

Baskerville: revived in 2009 as both an on-line and print journal. From volume 3, the sources for Baskerville articles are on CTAN, in /usergrps/uktug/baskervi; most issues are also there as pdf files. Page size is A4.

CS TUG (Czech and Slovak)

Zpravodaj: The TeX Bulletin of the Czech/Slovak group is published four times a year. Contact: bulletin@cstug.cz.

Grupy Uzytkowników Systemu TeX (Polish)

GUST Biuletyn: The GUST Bulletin is published once or twice a year. Its size is A4; the design is based on that of TUGboat. It contains delightful drawings by a member of GUST (Grupy Uzytkowników Systemu TeX). Contact: biuletyn@gust.org.pl.

Greek TeX Friends

Eutypon published its first issue in October 1998. It is published twice a year.

CervanTeX

TeXemplares was first published in autumn/winter of 2002. Editor: Enrique Melendez.

ÍsTeX (Icelandic)

SamanTeXt published its first issue in December 2004. Árni Magnússon is the editor.

International Journal of Digital Typography

IJDT was established in February 2006 to disseminate research results in the field of digital typography (not restricted to TeX). The editors-in-chief are Yannis Haralambous, John Plaice, and Apostolos Syropoulos.

Ars TeXnica (Italian)

Ars TeXnica was established in March 2006 as the publication for GuIT, the Italian TeX users group. The editor is Gianluca Pignalberi.

Asian Journal of TeX

The Asian Journal of TeX published its first issue in April 2007. It is the publication of the Korean TeX Society.

TUGIndia

TUGIndia Journal published two issues several years ago.
